Dr. Danish Iqbal Raina is a faculty at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) Jammu and Kashmir with over 15 years of experience in teaching and research. He is committed to academic innovation, institutional development, and student welfare.
He presently serves as Coordinator, Centre for Multidisciplinary Studies and Research, and Nodal Officer (B.Voc.), where he actively contributes to curriculum development, multidisciplinary initiatives, and the strengthening of skill-based education in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
In addition, he holds the responsibility of Media Advisor to the University, overseeing academic communication, outreach strategies, and institutional visibility.
Dr. Raina has successfully guided four Ph.D. scholars and has published around 20 research papers in reputed national and international journals. His research interests include Sustainable Development and Entrepreneurship, with an emphasis on inclusive growth and regional development.
He has developed and introduced courses at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels in areas such as Culture and Traditions, Community-Based Tourism, and Business Analytics, integrating local context with contemporary academic frameworks.
