Help in Instituting Sustainability as an Important Policy matter.

RTSOI believes that Sustainability as a concept needs to be a part of all conversations and all planning happening at the state, district ,village and business level. RTSOI helps demystifying Sustainability to every stakeholder in the state leading to not only Policies being framed but also their actual implementation happening

RTSOI assists the state govts achieve the above by introducing Quizzes and other engagement programs with schools, colleges and other educational institutes specializing in Tourism studies

We can also create a separate awards category on ‘most Sustainable property’/ ‘Project’/ etc. in the state to promote the concept.

A social media campaign on Responsible practices can be specially created for the govt to get Responsible behavior into everyday consumer behavior

Carrying Capacity studies of varied geographical entities

Destinations have limited resources. Some of our best known destinations are running out of basic resources as water, parking spaces etc.

RTSOI is happy to undertake the Carrying capacity studies of the destinations and other geographical entities like hill stations to enable the state govt to control the negative impact of tourism along with spreading the tourists which enables more people benefitting from the tourism activity.

Skill Building Workshops & Projects

Sustainability practices take training. RTSOI conducts skill building and awareness creating workshops on practical sustainability areas such as waste management at hotel/ unit level, carbon foot printing, certifications and many others to ensure Capacity building that leads to a critical mass of people understanding and practicing sustainability.

Developing a world recognized Sustainable Tourism destination as per the parameters of STCI

Our country is blessed with places of immense natural beauty that have the potential of developing as important, popular and Sustainable destinations. RTSOI guides the state and its destinations as well as all tourism stakeholders become STCI Compliant and become known as the most sustainable tourism state

As a Affiliate Partner member from the support sector

If you are not directly from the core tourism Industry, but are from a supporting sector, (such as Hotel Equipment supplier sector, FMCG, Air-conditioning etc) or are providing services to the industry ( such as architect, water harvesting professional etc), this is your opportunity to share your expertise in Sustainable/Green/Responsible practices with all our members.
